Current Students:
If you're currently enrolled, you may attend the Story of Scripture (SOS) conference and, if applicable to your degree, register for BE5201OL for credit the following semester (ex. Attended SOS in Fall 2025, then enroll in BE5201 Spring 2026). When the course begins, notify your GTA that you attended the conference the previous semester. Your GTA will then reduce the course viewing requirement, allowing you to concentrate on the course reading, the written project, and the oral exam.

Future Students:
If you’ve attended the Story of Scripture (SOS) conference and plan to enroll as a student in the next semester (ex. Attended SOS in Fall 2025, then enroll in BE5201 Spring 2026), you must do the following:

1. Apply and be accepted (dts.edu/apply).
2. Once admitted to DTS, register for BE5201OL.
3. At the start of the semester, inform your GTA that you previously attended the conference. Your GTA will then reduce the course viewing requirement, allowing you to concentrate on the course reading, the written project, and the oral exam.
