Is Hosting Right for Your Church?
▲ Leadership Buy-In: Your church leadership helps set the tone for participation and partnership.
▲ Volunteer Support: Hosts should plan for 4–10 volunteers each day to support registration, logistics, and hospitality.
▲ Production Readiness: A capable production team is important, including audio and video support. A minimum of two team members: one for audio/live sound/Ableton and one for video/ProPresenter.
▲ Flexible Facility: A sanctuary, auditorium, or conference-room style environment can work if it supports teaching sessions, hospitality, staging, green room, registration, and resource areas.

Our goal is to create a collaborative, well-supported experience that is both ministry-focused and financially responsible. To do this, we offer two hosting models designed to provide flexibility while aligning with your church’s goals, capacity, level of engagement, and budget.
Every host conversation is unique. Costs and partnership details can vary based on location, production needs, worship options, travel, and selected add-ons.

What costs should a host church expect?
Host churches can choose between two cost models. The Standard Hosting Model is a simple, predictable fee of $6,000 for churches seeking an easy-to-budget experience, while the Growth Hosting Model begins at $8,000 with the possibility of reducing or eliminating that cost based on registration participation. Our team will walk with your church to select the option that best fits your goals, capacity, level of engagement, and budget.
What factors affect final cost?
Final cost is shaped by the hosting model selected, average Sunday attendance, venue capacity, registration targets, and the church’s desired level of engagement. Churches should also plan to provide promotion, volunteers, facilities, and technical/production support.
When do we receive a proposed budget?
A proposed budget can be developed after SOS understands your church size, venue capacity, goals, and which hosting model is the best fit.

Worship: What to Expect
Worship is woven throughout the Story of Scripture Live Experience. Depending on the event format and selected options, the weekend may include live worship, choir, orchestra, or other worship elements that help the room respond to the beauty and unity of God’s Word.

Facility Needs Summary
Technologically equipped teaching spaces, flexible food areas, green room, staging, registration, and merchandise/resource areas are important facility needs.
▲ Main Session Room: Sanctuary, auditorium, or hotel conference room-style spaces may work. Stadium seating is okay if sightlines, sound, and screen visibility are strong.

SOS works with the host church to plan snacks and a Saturday meal. Final hospitality details should be confirmed during planning.
How many breaks are included?
The schedule includes breaks so attendees have time to stretch, visit the resource table, use restrooms, and connect with others.
What should attendees wear?
Comfortable, casual church/event attire is appropriate.
What should attendees bring?
A Bible, pen, and an open heart to learn.
Who should come?
Church-wide groups, ministry leaders, students, adults, and other area churches are welcome. Whether you are a new believer or a seasoned saint who has attended church your whole life, you will see the grand narrative of the Bible in a whole new way! Recommended age: 15+. This is not designed for little kids.

The Live Experience includes worship elements that support the teaching and help attendees respond to God’s Word.
What production support is required?
Host churches should be prepared to provide technical and production support, including sound, screens, lighting, and onsite support as needed. SOS will work with your team to confirm the specific production needs for your venue.
What rooms or spaces do we need?
The primary need is a main gathering space large enough for teaching, worship, and attendee seating. Additional spaces will be needed for breakout sessions, hospitality, resource tables, volunteer check-in, and team staging.
Do we need tables and chairs, or is stadium seating okay?
Stadium-style or auditorium seating is acceptable for the main sessions. Tables and chairs will be needed in hospitality, resource, volunteer, or check-in areas, depending on your setup.
Are breakout rooms required?
Breakout Rooms are required if breakout sessions are planned.
Is this appropriate for children?
The recommended age is 15 and older. The event is not designed for young children, though families with older students may find it meaningful to attend together.
Will resources or merchandise be available?
Yes, SOS resources will be available during the event to help attendees continue engaging with God’s Story after the weekend. These may include devotionals, comic books, study materials, and other tools.
What add-ons are available?
Some host churches choose to expand the experience including: Extra Breakout Sessions, Live Orchestra, Choir, and Artifacts Display.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payments for onsite resources are by credit/debit card only.
